Ewan Mitchell Net Worth
Ewan Mitchell’s net worth is estimated at between $1 million and $2 million. Most industry trackers and media reports put his personal wealth at around $1.5 million. That is a healthy figure for an actor in his late twenties who only reached mainstream fame in the last few years.
How Much Does He Earn?
Most of his money comes from television and film acting. His pay for House of the Dragon has reportedly grown with each season, and by the recent seasons it was said to sit at roughly $80,000 to $120,000 per episode. Season 3 ran for eight episodes, and a fourth and final season is already confirmed, so the show should keep supporting his income for a while.
Other Income Sources
Film work adds to his earnings. He has appeared in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn and her version of Wuthering Heights, and he has joined the cast of Justine Triet’s upcoming thriller Fonda. Brand work and fashion appearances may also bring in money, since he has become a regular at premieres in designer outfits. These figures are estimates, as Mitchell does not share his finances publicly.
Ewan Mitchell Age and Birthday
Ewan Mitchell was born on March 8, 1997, which makes him 29 years old. His birthday falls in early March, so his zodiac sign is Pisces. People born under this sign are often described as creative and intuitive, which fans like to link to the emotional depth he brings to his roles.
Nationality and Birthplace
Mitchell is English, and he was born in Derby, Derbyshire, in the East Midlands. Derby is about an hour and a half from London by train, and he has talked openly about growing up there and keeping his roots in the city. His ordinary, grounded upbringing is a big part of why fans find him so relatable.
Height, Weight and Looks
Mitchell is generally listed at around 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 metres) and about 78 kg (171 lbs). These are commonly reported estimates, not official measurements. He has brown hair in real life, though his bleached silver blond look as Aemond became one of the most recognisable images from the show.
Is the Aemond Look Real?
No. The platinum hair and eye patch belong to the character. Off screen he usually keeps a much lower key look, though he has won plenty of praise for his red carpet style.
Education and Early Training
Mitchell did not go to university or a traditional drama school, mostly because of money. He finished high school in 2015 and then attended a two year vocational course where he studied design and technology. During that time he worked part time jobs at a local restaurant and a soccer club.
Nottingham Television Workshop
His real acting education came at age 17, when he joined the Nottingham Television Workshop, also known as the Central Junior Television Workshop. It is a well respected regional training group for young actors in England, and it gave him the foundation for his later career. His path is a good example of someone building a career without an expensive drama school behind him.
Parents and Siblings
Mitchell keeps his family life very private. He has an older brother, and he grew up in Derby with parents who, by his own account, expected both sons to follow a traditional path and work at Rolls Royce, the major aerospace and engineering company based in the city. He chose acting instead.
His parents’ names and jobs are not widely shared, and he rarely talks about extended family in interviews. The family does share a love of animals, which we cover below.
Wife, Girlfriend and Kids
Ewan Mitchell is not married and has no publicly confirmed girlfriend or partner. He is considered single, and there are no documented relationships. He also has no children that are publicly known.
He does not use social media, and he keeps his dating life out of the spotlight. Fans often speculate online, but nothing has been confirmed by Mitchell or his team. He seems more interested in his work than in celebrity gossip.
Religion
Mitchell has not spoken publicly about his religion or faith, and there is no confirmed information in his interviews. We prefer to leave this detail out until he shares it himself.
