Unit aim
The aim of this
unit is to help
learners recognise a range of
prospective employers and their
profiles and products. The unit
also helps learners choose an employer
in terms of own personal
interests, knowledge, skills
and job opportunities.
Unit introduction
Developing on awareness of the range of
employment opportunities in the creative media
sector is essential for learners starting their career as a creative. In
doing so, learners can identify
employers appropriate to their skills, the employment status appropriate to
their need the produce a CV and pitch to secure a position
in an appropriate environment. This unit gives learners a practical pathway to help
them to identify and analyse opportunities and create tools.
Learners will have the opportunity to
identify employment sources and the main types of
employment status within the creative
media sector. Learners will gain the knowledge to help them choose between the
main types of employment status.
